I am sorry for not blogging the last few weeks. Our lives have been totally crazy! As of last night was our first night in about a month and a half without visitors. My brother was here for a month working on his house and his fiance Megan and my niece came up for a 2 week visit during his stay. It was great having them here but as we all know it's nice getting back into the routine of things again.
Marcus gutted the house and put in hardwood floors, doors, trim, custom closets, repainted the whole inside and pun in new light fixtures. I was seriously shocked on the results the house looks amazing and all his hard work is defiantly going to pay off in the end. Of course there is always more he would like to do but for the time being it's move in ready and anxiously awaiting them for their October move in date. The wedding has been set, Marcus and Megan will get married on the 24th of September. It is a Thursday but in order to get the venue etc. this was the best date. We recently purchased our tickets and will coming to Utah in just a few weeks!
We attended the Benton Franklin Fair and Rodeo this past weekend. Easton loved the animals especially the poultry barn! Go figure the dirty animals he enjoyed the most. Every time a rooster would crow he would just laugh and laugh. He liked the bunnies but I don't know if they liked him pulling their ears. Cabela just lets Easton pull her ears so the poor bunnies had to learn the hard way.
This weekend my parents are coming back up for Labor Day. They are bringing a load of furniture to Marcus house and we are going to hang out for a few days. We are excited to see my parents again and looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home. Josh and I are going to check on the weather and possibly go up fishing on Sunday.
Easton is just growing like a weed. He's in 12-18 month clothes and weights over 20lbs! He looks more and more like his daddy everyday! I quit claiming his chin and just go with it. He does look just like his daddy there is no doubt about it. He is only taking a bottle three times a day now, he loves drinking out of a sippy cup, and he LOVES eating puffs. He is almost crawling we are sure if he didn't have such large thighs (dense) he would already be on the move. Instead he just army crawls to get where he needs to go.
Easton and Josh are battling colds right now. I don't know what is worse having your baby be sick or your husband! Easton is congested and coughing a ton and Josh's is all congested as well. It's been interesting to say the least. Hopefully they will both be on the upward climb here soon.
We love you all and miss you tons. I promise to get back on board here with the blog world soon.
To my salt lake girls, can we try to get together the week of the 24th? I would love to see you girls and the kidos.
